Who is he and where is he from?
Jazz Scott from London, UK
At some point in my life, I was 9 years old and everything was great, however, that is no longer the case!
Well, I’m Jazz, your average man born and raised in London, UK, I use to live in a little town called Peterborough during my teens and early 20’s before escaping and heading back to the big city. My family background is from the beautiful island of Jamaica.
I recently gained a massive interest in photography and well I’ve always loved food and thought hey! Let me take pictures of my food and post it across the web for you to enjoy as much as I have….. before I eat it.
I actually started my photography journey in the streets, I love street art and finding new angles of the world we live in, the people and the architecture. It’s nice to see things from someone else’s point of view.
Why did you start a Blog?
I love talking and sharing ideas, it’s one of the world greatest treasure, knowledge and discovery. I’m forever looking for new recipes from all cultures and background. I appreciate everyone who shares their ideas and gives us a little taste of their food creativity. I guess it helps me understand myself a little better too.
What’s your goal in life?
I would be lying if I didn’t say I want my family to be financially secure because let’s face it, most of us are only one pay cheque away from losing our homes, however, that aside, live happily! Is that not the point of living? Maybe once upon a time, now I feel that we have to help each other be better people and learn compassion and all that good stuff again and the food is a good place to start.
Do you prefer to eat in or out?
Not going to lie, I love eating out, but I would love it more if I didn’t have to pay for it so for that reason I have learnt to love eating in just as much, because I get to learn and understand if I’m actually a good cook who’s as creative as I think I am haha. Plus I get to save a few quid.
What’re your views on life?
I believe, like most that life is one of the most beautiful creation in existence, but in Morden times we have become so disconnected from the meaning of life and more life. Everything is a virtual reality that we are not playing but are embedded and we need to take a step back and breathe the real world.
They say social networking can be the most antisocial thing around. Breaking down people’s self-esteem, confidence and ability to connect with real people who genuinely care and with that said I would like the world to use technology for things that really matter and not use technology to use people.
