Ingredients you will need:
- 2 celery sticks
- 1/2 large cucumber
- 1-inch cube ginger
- 1 Pink lady Apple
- A hand full of Kale
I find these simple juices to be a winner, when it comes to time, Nutrition and enjoyment. the best time to have a juice like this would be first thing in the morning when you have just woken up. The body would have fasted for at least eight hours (depending on your sleep pattern) since your previous meal and sleep and will more likely absorb the goodness.
Although most of us enjoy, fruit juices more, you just can’t beat the overall health benefits of a vegetable juice.
One of the biggest benefits I have noticed with juices, especially vegetable based ones, is the ability to minimise mucus, which can be most helpful when you are suffering cold or flu. Muscus is behind so many illnesses which builds up added pressure and for the body to fight off infections. So its amazing how small life charges like waking up to a juice first thing in the morning make a difference in the bodies daily battles.
